The PVS-14 objective lens close focus stop is a retaining ring that prevents your objective lens from unscrewing out of the housing. It is screwed into the objective lens from the inside of the housing using an objective lens retaining ring wrench. This part is reqired to reain optics if you are not using a D collar lock ring.
